Ingredients
Fruit Salad
- Strawberries
- Grapes
- Bananas
- Nectarines
- Apples
- Nuts and seeds of choice for decoration (I used brazil nuts, almonds, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds)
Almond Milk
- 45 Almonds
- 4 walnuts (optional)
- 4 brazil nuts (optional)
Method
Almond/ Nut milk
- Blend the nuts with a 150ml of water in a blender.... then add another 600ml of water and blend again
- Let the milk settle slightly for 2 mins.
- Then pour 50% from the top into another container for later use - store in the fridge
- Pour the remaining milk with nut bits into a mixing bowl
Fruit Salad
- Chop the strawberries, grapes, bananas, nectarines and apples and add to the mixing bowl with the nut milk in it
- Mix the fruit and nut milk mixture so that all the fruit is has come into contact with the milk to reduce colour change
- Cool the mixture in the fridge for 1/2 hour
- Then serve with sprinkled seeds and nuts as shown in picture below
