Fruit Salad with Home Made Nut Milk

Method

Almond/ Nut milk

  1. Blend the nuts with a 150ml of water in a blender.... then add another 600ml of water and blend again
  2. Let the milk settle slightly for 2 mins.
  3. Then pour 50% from the top into another container for later use - store in the fridge
  4. Pour the remaining milk with nut bits into a mixing bowl

Fruit Salad

  1. Chop the strawberries, grapes, bananas, nectarines and apples and add to the mixing bowl with the nut milk in it
  2. Mix the fruit and nut milk mixture so that all the fruit is has come into contact with the milk to reduce colour change
  3. Cool the mixture in the fridge for 1/2 hour
  4. Then serve with sprinkled seeds and nuts as shown in picture below
